  • 熊晓犁,博士,研究员,广东省珠江人才计划青年拔尖人才,英国微生物学会会员。在英国布里斯托大学生物化学系/细胞和分子医学系分别获得生物化学与生物技术学士学位和病理学与微生物学博士学位。熊晓犁研究员先后在英国MRC National Institute for Medical Research (Francis Crick Institute) 病毒学系 Sir John Skehel研究组,美国华盛顿大学(西雅图)生物化学系,英国MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology结构生物学系从事病原微生物致病机理的研究。20209月加入中国科学院广州生物医药与健康研究院。

     

    10年来熊晓犁研究员研究了H5N1, H7N9, H10N8流感病毒的跨种传播机理(Xiong et. al. Nature 2013a, Xiong et. al. Nature 2013b, Xiong et. al. Virology 2014, Vachieri*, Xiong.* et. al.  Nature 2014, 流感病毒的装配机制 (Peukes*, Xiong*# et. al. Nature 2020)。冠状病毒的入侵机制 (Xiong et. al. J. Virology 2018, Walls*, Xiong* et. al. Cell 2019), 新型冠状病毒表面抗原S蛋白的稳定化(Xiong*# et. al.  Nat. Struct. Mol. Biol. 2020)等科学问题。研究团队旨在运用结构生物学与生物化学方法探明病原微生物的致病机理,并在理解其致病机理的基础上开发干预手段。
